Just east of Steamboat Rock is the most beautiful canyon in the Columbia Basin. There is actually forest in there. Be amazed by the sheer basalt cliffs and the granite mounds. An easy 2 mile walk leads you to the old farm house. For a more serious challenge, go the full 3.5 miles to an enchanted lake. You might think you are in the mountains!
